IMAK Products Corporation is a privately held company based in San Diego, California. IMAK was founded in 1997 by Aurelia Koby, president, and Dr. Ian MacMorran, medical director. Ms. Koby, a life-time sufferer of chronic joint pain, well understands the need for products that provide comfort and pain relief. She uses IMAK products herself to manage pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia, and is a strong believer in non-invasive, natural pain relief.

Dr. MacMorran is an orthopedic and hand surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in private practice. His specialty is repetitive stress injury. He has treated thousands of patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome.

Dr. MacMorran believes that night splinting is the best conservative treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome and invented the exceptionally comfortable Pil-O-Splint® (now known as SmartGlovePM™) to help his patients. This patented night splint has provided many patients with relief from carpal tunnel pain during rest and sleep.
