Not only do they support your wrists as well as a standard wrist rest (which is impractical to use with a laptop), but they also reduce the "slow burn" you get from extended use of the warm metal palm rest area below the keyboard on a MBP PLUS keep your forearms from pressing against the relatively sharp edge of the 'Book (which at least on my 17" is an issue--I'd end up with big red creases on my forearms after a few hours).

Now I purchase the mouse wrist rest online as well as the one for the keyboard for all our new employees, and this is the manufacturer that I always recommend when I am doing assessments for clients. It is softer than the gel filled wrist rests and still delivers excellent support.

Arthritis Gloves Testimonials

These gloves are made of thin, light weight cotton/lycra knit fabric, not spandex like the tighter compression gloves. The seams are well placed. I feel that they run a bit large. I would rate the 'compression' as mild... moderate if I move down a size. I should wear the large but they are clearly too big all around. I prefer the medium size for most activities and wear the small ones when doing finger-intense activities like knitting. They are working well with my moderate discomforts. My husband has taken the large pair for doing work in his wood shop. I didn't think he'd give them a try but once he had them on he was hooked. They are thin so if cold is an issue, plan on a second pair of regular gloves over these.
