Day and Night Wrist Pain Relief

SAN DIEGO, CA – Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, or CTS, is a common problem that affects the wrists of many people. Computer users are especially impacted by this problem. Recently, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has reported that 53% of repetitive motion injuries occur in the wrist. Cal OSHA has reported that injuries are developed when highly repetitive motions are used by the wrists. IMAK Products Corporation has launched a new treatment concept for relief of CTS – for day and night. The Day and Night treatment was created by Dr. Ian MacMorran, M.D., an orthopedic and hand surgeon, to provide early intervention and pain relief to CTS sufferers.

The Smart Glove® provides complete comfort and ease of motion for use during the day, and is especially effective for computer work. This amazing product helps keep the wrist in a neutral position, easing pain, while allowing movement to maintain productivity. The Smart Glove features a built-in wrist pad filled with plastic beads that glide smoothly against the skin protecting the underside of the wrist and pisiform bone from hard surfaces and sharp edges. It is made of soft cotton Lycra material and is washable. The removable splint is flexible, allowing the hand to function fully.

The Pil-O-Splint® provides restriction of movement to the wrist, hand and fingers, specifically designed for nighttime use. According to Dr. MacMorran, "Pil-O-Splint immobilizes the wrist, hand and fingers, while maximizing the healing powers of rest and sleep." The Pil-O-Splint contains two rigid splints that keep the wrist, hand and fingers in a neutral position, preventing you from holding your hand in a harmful position while sleeping. Made of Superior quality materials with cushioning foam and soft cotton lining that allow the skin to breathe.

With the combined usage of the two products, CTS sufferers can now experience pain relief throughout the day and night.

The Smart Glove is also available with a thumb support, offering support for painful thumb injuries. The Pil-O-Splint is also available "adjustable" with a single Velcro strap, providing the user with the option of adjustable compression.
